Would you like to have the opportunity to learn from the many successful blind and low vision people across the country? Are you interested in joining with others to increase opportunities for blind people? Consider joining the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of California!

The San Fernando Valley Chapter meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (meetings that include special presentations may run longer). Join us at our meeting location: Tarzana Hospital(North Conference Center Building B) 18321 Clark St. Tarzana CA 91356 (just east of Reseda Blvd).

*Please note the following instructions that should make it easier for you to find our meeting location: There are 2 ways to enter the hospital complex, either from Clark St. or Burbank Blvd. Please give the following instructions to your driver.

If entering from Clark St. continue straight, bypassing the hospital main entrance and the Women's Pavilion. When you reach the end of the building, which should be on your right hand side, turn right into the parking lot which is in front of the North Conference Center Building B and look for the entrance.

If entering from Burbank Blvd. continue straight through the parking gate until reaching a parking structure, which will be slightly to your right. At that point, keep to the left which should lead into the parking lot in front of the North Conference Center Building B then look for the entrance.

The National Federation of the blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams.
You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.

Membership in the NFB is extremely rewarding because it opens up a network of unparalleled support, friendship, and resources.  With more than 50,000 members, the National Federation of the Blind is the largest and most influential membership organization of blind people in the United States. The NFB improves blind people’s lives through advocacy, education, research, technology, and programs encouraging independence and self-confidence. Anyone and everyone (blind, low vision, family members and friends) are welcome to come and check out our meetings and join if interested.
